Cecile Ten Kate, the UTILE coordinator, illustrates the objectives of the UTILE project in an article published in the digital publication “Open Access Government”.
The article discusses the valorisation of research projects in the health innovation ecosystem recalling the UTILE project methodologies and activities to analyse more than 1200 projects funded by the European Commission in the health sector under the FP7 and Horizon 2020 Funding Programmes with the aim to identify the most promising research results for commercialisation.
Moreover, it analyses how the valorisation of research projects has being approached by UTILE and the lesson learnt that will bring to a series of policy recommendations aimed at strengthening the health innovation ecosystem.
